As an update to a post regarding the new Piggly Wiggly, the original Pig will remain open and will, in fact, receive a minor face lift. The owners of Piggly Wiggly South Carolina franchise believe the rapidly growing area of Bluffton, SC can easily support two stores.

A bigger Pig will soon be in Bluffton
A much larger Piggly Wiggly, a southern grocery store chain, will open its doors sometime this summer at the new Myrtle Plaza near the intersection of Burnt Church Rd. and the Bluffton Parkway.
